Once you’ve made your escape, you’ll then unlocked the first proper campaign mission where you’re asked to stop the invasion of the orcs into the grasslands. The tutorial mission mainly revolves around breaking Gerald the Paladin and his newfound companions out of the city, making their escape into the wilderness. So, if you’re new to the game, you might want to take note! The game does take a while to learn, even with the tutorial, as there’s a bit of a learning curve here. The “Normal”, on the other hand, functions as the Hard mode. Although the Casual mode is touted as “for those looking for a casual experience”, from what I can tell, it’s basically the “Normal” mode of the game. It is here you’ll start your adventure with the paladin! Gameplay To begin, you’ll need to first choose a difficulty. However, during an opportune moment where most of the guards were distracted, a hooded figure sneaked into the prison, unlocked Gerald’s cell and handed him his gear. Being the goody-two-shoes that he is, Gerald the Paladin was imprisoned in the dungeons where he was left to rot. Plotline The Linirean Capital is under the Dark Army’s rule. The game does have a bit of a learning curve however so you can expect to die quite a bit early on.
